Changing your tax rate
Tax rates are set for each location. Change a rate once and every product that uses it picks up the new rate.
Change the rate
1. Click Setup, then Settings, then Locations.
2. Select the location in the list on the left.
3. Find the rate under Tax Rate 1, Tax Rate 2 or Tax Rate 3, and type the new one (Figure 1).
4. Click Save, bottom right.

Watch out: click Save
The new rate does nothing until you save. Every product using that rate at this location changes as soon as you do.
